Gastonia, North Carolina | September 10, 2026
Dance Reflections won the $2,500 grand prize in the 2026 “Do the Dr. Ted” dance-off at CaroMont Health Park on September 10. The competition brought five finalists onto the field during Dr. Ted Injury Law Night, as the Gastonia Ghost Peppers hosted the Lexington Legends for their final home game.
Five finalists take the field
The finale followed a summer-long contest inviting community members to learn and perform the “Do the Dr. Ted” dance. Five finalists performed during the game before the competition narrowed to two.
Dance Reflections earned the championship and $2,500. Kennedy Blair finished second and received $1,000. All five finalists received custom Turtlebox speakers personalized with the Dr. Ted Injury Law name.
A community night at CaroMont Health Park
Dr. Ted Car Accident and Personal Injury Lawyers sponsored the evening, which retained the event name “Dr. Ted Injury Law Night.” Gaston County United Way and the Gaston Business Association participated as event partners, and Power 98 WPEG broadcast live from the ballpark.
The firm provided 100 complimentary tickets to team members, community partners and Power 98 listeners. The evening also included a ceremonial first pitch, fan promotions and music. Ted Greve and members of the firm met fans and celebrated with the dancers throughout the night.
Celebrating the people in our communities
Our Gastonia office serves the community where the celebration took place. The ballpark event follows another gathering hosted by the firm in Shelby, where community leaders came together to celebrate the Shelby High and Crest High state championship football teams.
Congratulations to Dance Reflections, Kennedy Blair and all five finalists. Thank you to the Gastonia Ghost Peppers, our event partners and everyone who joined us at CaroMont Health Park.
