Jeremy Hayes is a personal injury attorney with Dr. Ted Injury Law, where he negotiates claims and litigates cases for injured clients. His background in education, coaching, prosecution, public defense, real estate law, and government service gives him a practical and disciplined approach to helping clients understand the legal process and make informed decisions.

Jeremy grew up in the small town of Georgetown, Indiana, where he learned the value of hard work from his parents, who worked long hours and rarely took a day off. With a passion for history and a desire to coach football, Jeremy attended Indiana University Southeast and earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. He then spent several years working as a high school history teacher and football coach.

Jeremy later attended the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. During law school, he worked as a law clerk for the Indiana Attorney General’s Office and the Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel.

After law school, Jeremy fulfilled a longtime goal of living in the Carolinas and moved to South Carolina. He served as an Assistant Solicitor for the 16th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, where he gained criminal trial experience. Jeremy then worked as a real estate closing attorney with Stelzner Law Firm before serving as a Public Defender for York County.

In service to his community, Jeremy serves as Treasurer of the York County Bar Association, which supports law-related community initiatives. At Dr. Ted Injury Law, he brings the work ethic he learned growing up, the communication skills he developed as an educator and coach, and the courtroom experience he gained in public service to his representation of personal injury clients.
